Egg is CHEEPING!! How long until pipping???

BTW, daughter thinks I am crazy and hearing things. She kept leaving and the egg would cheep again!!

so it started cheeping about 11 pm tonight! How long till pipping, zipping, and hatching?

They are still in the egg turner in the still hovabator. It's a staggered hatch that's next due on Thursday.

ADVICE????
 
I've heard chirping on day 18, and the little booger wait until day 22 to hatch.

Do you have another incubator to finish off the early eggs of your staggered hatch? You'll want to take the older eggs out of the turners. Perhaps hand turn the ones due next Thursday.
 
Monday night was lock own on the older eggs. So they all went into the hatcher, too. The 4 that were due Monday nite hadn't hatched yet at my place, BUT there were 6 came home from my girlfriends Sportsman and 2 left over there with one of them peeping. This morning found one chick in the hatcher from the 3 eggs that were due.

We are guessing at 3 pullets and 3 roos and the one born this morning is too wet to tell. These are Welsummer chicks and the girls have eyeliner and V's on the heads, the boys no eyeliner and smudgier V's or a DOT on the head.

I did get a BLONDE chick which tells me that it's hen is not a pure Welsummer, still producing the odd chick outside the standards.

(Good gives me something to compare).

So I have a BUNCH of eggs in the hatcher and started more Welsummers in the bator. Hope for a dry incubation, steady temps and a better hatch!
