Need Help with my Cat, really worried and confused?!

I have a 3yr old male and a 2yr old female and they are best of friends both fixed, well out of no where after sitting in an open window with the male today my female is acting like she doesnt know my male, she is hissing and hitting him and acting just crazy twords him, she is fine around us but acts like she doesnt know him?! It is so weird, I have never seen anything like it?! The male is sweet as pie and just about as confused as can be, he has tried to sniff her and play but she just attacks him. Help?

Ok, any change in her litter box behavior?
are there stray cats/animals that could have startled her through the window?
changes in diet/eating habits?
recent vaccines?
possible fall/injury?

My first thought is a mental or physical trauma, my next is a health issue ie: UTI
I have had problems with sudden onset aggression with recent vaccination with my dogs - just a thought.

If this odd behavior continues, I would take her to her vet.

Thanks, nothing has changed at all, the only thing that is even remotely possible is that she saw a wild monitor lizard in the window, apprently we have a giant one running amuck. She came from a feral mama and has a bit of a wild side but for the most part is a good cat, she has since calmed a bit and is being less aggressive but it's still just nuts how she went crazy out of nowhere.
 
I do hope that she is just 'creeped out' and will go back to normal soon. Poor girl, and poor target kitty. lol
I guess that could be a displaced aggression issue caused by fear. Be careful you don't startle her for a bit, I'd hate that you might become a target, too.
Have you any Rescue Remedy? Maybe put her some where quiet and secluded until she can get her bearings back.

Sometimes it happens like that. It's like yourselfe has a bad week. I have here 2 siblings and sometimes they do the same thing and a couple days later, they will sleep togther again. So there is hope.
Send you a lot of energie to stay that
