Freezing Temps: What happens to eggs?

I couldn't find the freezing point for eggs. One site mentioned -56C. I just do F,so I don't know how cold that is.
Forget that, it's way too cold! I found a converter on line.

The frozen eggs all had cracks (not a good thing if they had been sitting in a nest box).
The whites on the ones that had been frozen looked a little cloudy, but taste / texture was no different from fresh --- at least after scrambling

Wow. I read my reply and was going nuts trying to remember typing it out. Then I looked at the date and saw that this thread is over a year old! LOL
