Buff cross Black Orpington, Gender and colour???

Heres my little beauty, Approx a week old, can anyone give me and idea of what sort of colour it will turn out like, bred from buff cross black orp. Also can anyone guess the gender? i know its a long shot!!

I have 2 like that, super cute as they feather in. One has got some gold barring or lacing coming through on the brown. Neither one stayed a solid brown, I wish I could post pics, but at this point, im out of luck! I think it is too early for the gender though. Very sweet little chick you have there!!

I believe this one is the same as yours - buff/black orpington mix

Day old (you can see a tiny comb already and not so on the buff)


3 weeks old and getting quite a comb, though not red yet..... (with EE friend)
 
yeap i agree, cute though, and it looks like a poor gold laced from crossing the 2 colours together, can't wait to see what my chocolate cross buff will produce
