Rollie pollies / pill bugs are crustaceans (kin to crayfish and shrimp) rather than insects. They are repressented by many species and they consume a range of detritus based foods. The species or food consumed may influence qualites of taste and smell to a chicken so some my be consumed with relish and others avoided.
