Something's killing chickens, taking heads, leaving bodies

Thanks all! I really didn't think we had weasels here but maybe we do - I'll have to ask my boys - they are serious trappers. Hopefully everyone's in safe and sound for tonight at least, except for the roosters - they like to live dangerously.
 
we had the same thing happen, and it was a skunk, I caught it in the act...
weird, but skunks will do that same thing, so will weasels and minks too. usually a coon will take the bird.
I went out to check cause my hubby thought I had locked the chicken door, and I thought he did, I went out, and had my cell phone in my pocket, called him, he was in bed!!
He came out and the skunk went to skunk heaven.
