I do think all the hens should have the option do have their toes done now and again

It's good for the soul to see pretty sparkling toes!

However, I do think you should expand the color repertoire....neon colors! Or even rainbow...oooo the possibilities!

**Fake Edit** My husband glanced over as I wrote this, and informed me that under no circumstances am I to go out and paint chicken toenails. I wonder WHY he would think I would do such a thing?

*sneaks a peek over at the multicolored toes of one of the cats nearby who got anointed with rainbow soft-paws....*

Yes, I am curious about whether or not the other chickens get a little TOO interested in those bright berry coloured toe nails. I know I can't have finger or toenail polish anymore!
 
LOL I have a chick right now, and the tip of one of his toes is gone

but any ways, he is by himself, but he is accompanied in the same room as two yes i said two screeching loud Quaker parrots. The tip of his toe that isn't there, is just a brown scab, and when he was little, he would peck it and grab it and pull his leg out from under him, and fall and chirp really loud because he hurt himself.

If my kids see this I'm doomed!!! They'll make me paint all nine of my hens!! Awesome idea though. How'd you get them to sit still??
