I last previously posted asking if there would be a chicken swap meet in Houston but since that topic died why not start a chicken swap meet in Houston?

Proud owner of a flock of bantams and a few standard chickens.

 

Capri & Venus are my breeding pair of Porcelain D'uccle Bantams.

I would be interested in coming since I'm relatively close to houston

I'm planning to start my own Chicken Swap Meet in the Houston area though I'll have to setup a scheduled date for this event. All chicken breeds from standard to bantam chickens and chicks can be brought by their owners to be swapped or can be purchased from owners that happen to bring them along for this event.

Yeah, we really need a swap meet in the Houston area there has got to be a lot of chicken fanciers in the area, Austin puts us to shame with all their chicken groups and coop tours etc.

I'd like to come.  I'm about 2 hours from Houston.

Proudly owned by 9 Welsummers, 5 Silkies, 3 RIR's, 2 New Hamps, 3 Delawares, 2 Ameraucanas, 6 EE/who-knows-what mixes, 3 Delaware mixes, and 2 Ameraucana/Welsummer mixes.

Mama always said I was a mother hen, but I may be taking it a bit too far.

I would agree on this since Houston rarely gets chicken swap meets. We can plan a swap meet in the Houston area.
