New twist: The air has shifted around Assateauge, and it's setting everyone on edge. Storms are sure to come, and big ones at that. But, with the barriers the horses have wedged between themselves, how can they stay strong, not to mention alive, without each other's help?

*No really bad language, obviously. Just keep in mind the age of people on here. INCLUDING using the Lord's name in vain, saying "This s*cks!", or cr*p. (20 points)
*No "explicit content". No bloody stuff, or anything else bad. Stallions and mares may fight, but you can't just run up and kill someone. You need "permission", sneak attack or not. Actually, I'll go so far as to say, no killings unless the horse's controller them self says that they are dead. If a horse dies, the player obviously can make another in place of it, and it won't count. Please, no random, bloody, fights. Fights should only be for ranks.
*No REAL, heated arguments here, please

*Please actually RP on SeaBand once in a while. The breeding farms are taking over. It's fine if you want to RP there, just please limit that.
*Here at SeaBand, you must promise never to leave a horse out. I'm sure we've all suffered having our horses, chickens, lions, wolves, etc be ignored. We want SB to be very friendly to ANY horse that joins, unless there is a large reason not to. We've recently had a member leave us because of this, and I don't want it to happen again.
*No dramatic posts (e.g., "No one answers me!", "Don't! I'll leave if you do it!")
*BE REALISTIC. A wild horse cannot become automatically become tame. A stallion cannot die in one blow.
*Follow our fighting "points" system when fighting.
*Do not complain, please! This is based off of a real horse band, so it has to be realistic.

There's obviously a lead stallion and mare. The lead stallion and mare must be mated, or "together", like in a real band. Other mated couples can go down the ranks together, but you don't need a mate to join or be higher up in ranks, just leader. **You can absolutely challenge the Lead Stallion. If the challenger wins, the leader and is out, but his mate is given the chance to fight if the challenger has a mate trying to climb up in ranks. If the Lead Stallion and his mate are beaten, they only go down one rank. There may be a Lead Stallion without a mate, or a Lead Mare without a mate.** Here's who is sitting where:

To join, just fill in the basic info about your horse. You may make an orphaned foal, if you'd like. Also, even if this isn't too realistic, there may be a stallion for every mare in this band. It leads to some fighting, but we learn to deal with it. Please, please, please note this; just because a horse isn't ranked highly doesn't mean it's a failure. Not every horse can be a shining palomino ranked one spot beneath the lead couple.

**"Life Story":

***Chincoteague Ponies almost always have patches or spots.
SeaBand roams the whole island of Assateague. They have no boundaries outside of humans. Their biggest fear is the annual Chincoteague round-up, where humans called "saltwater cowboys" round up the band and drive them through town, and across the Assateague channel from Assateague island onto Chincoteague island. There they are penned up, some of the foals auctioned away to visitors and locals. There is a carnival around after the event. It seems to be fun for humans, but the many people scare the small amount of ponies that get rounded up, about 150. Some of the ponies, however, love the event, and the attention. It seems to be fun for the small children that unknowingly stroke the wild foal's noses as they are waiting to be sold. Their parents will scold them for touching a wild animal, but the magic of a small child is a new event for the ponies, sometimes soothing.
SeaBand is a smaller band, and it only contains Chincoteague Ponies. They are thought to have descended from Spanish horses that swam to the island's shore after a shipwreck. They formed a new, unique, breed as they roamed along the coast. It is still a mystery, although. Some people say it is more likely that they descend from released livestock in the 1700s. Their mystery is part of the magic of Chincoteague Ponies.

**"Life Story": Fuco was born into SeaBand, and doesn't plan to leave. He's a gorgeous shining roan with white patches a temper, but he has loads of empathy and compassion, and a good heart. Timache sees through his tough exterior, and he's a softie, like most stallions. He will put up a great fight when fighting for something that's his, or that he believes is right. Fuco is the fastest in the band by far, but he doesn't have the best endurance. Fuco's old main goal in life was to be lead stallion, but when he met Timache, he gave up that goal, as she wasn't too into him fighting every day.

The men took him near the coast, and sold him for slaughter. He was whipped when he didn't listen to their commands. **"Life Story": Timache's parents were wanderers, as their parents were kicked out of the band together, the two pairs. The family found SeaBand when Timache's dam was pregnant with her. Timache is a pretty grullo with a few white splashes on her belly and sides, and one sock. She doesn't have too much color besides grullo. Her heart is filled with kindness, empathy, and love. It sounds sappy, but she's always there for everyone. Although she has a calm aura around her, and many think of her as quiet, she will put up a very good fight for anything she believes is right. She has a short white mane with a blank strand here and there, and a small black forelock. Aiyana has piercing blue eyes, and a soft pink muzzle with a large snip extending towards the middle of her head. A tiny, barely existing white star is centered on her forehead. Though fairly innocent and small in appearance, Aiyana should never be underestimated.
Personality: Often easygoing, but easy to frustrate especially if teased or flirted with. Can be rather hotheaded, and doesn't really like stallions because of her bad experiences with them. This doesn't mean she can't be friends with them however. She just isn't interested in a mate.

**"Life Story": Aiyana used to be a part of the Traitor's Band, and has lived there ever since she and her mother were kidnapped. After her mother who she was very close to was killed as a result of refusing to breed a month or so ago, she grew frustrated with the stallions of the herd and barely managed to escape. Aiyana heard of SeaBand as she lived her days as a lone mare, and eventually decided to search for it once she heard what it was like.

**"Life Story": She was born at a Welsh Cob breeding farm and sold off to a little girl as a gift one day. Once she was old enough, the girl's parents taught Satinka how to jump and eventually became her primary riding horse. The two became so good that they eventually entered in shows and were often considered champions, and also very good friends with a close bond. One day before a show, the small truck pulling Satinka's trailer was T-boned by a much larger truck and tumbled off the rode, damaged terribly. The mare's trailer wasn't in very good shape either, but fortunately the door had fallen off so she could escape. When she was out she was thankful for having only minor injuries and being only slightly shaken, but terrified once she discovered both the driver and the girl were dead. As spooked and upset as she was, Satinka charged out into the forest in tears and came across SeaBand within a day or so.

MistBand is a band of feral, Andalusian horses, each one a pristine white. They reside on the farthest edge of the island, but roam every once and a while. They are quiet, calm creatures, prefering not to fight and are known as peace-makers. They are sea dwellers, longing to live near it and hear the sound of its refreshing waves, the scent of the salty breeze, the feel of the warm sand upon their feet. A secret follows them though, something they've kept hidden for many years.......
Here are the rules for MistBand, some of them are the original, some I have made sepcially for MistBand.
*No really bad language, obviously. Just keep in mind the age of people on here. INCLUDING using the Lord's name in vain, saying "This s*cks!", or cr*p. (20 points)
*No "explicit content". No bloody stuff, or anything else bad. Stallions and mares may fight, but you can't just run up and kill someone. You need "permission", sneak attack or not. Actually, I'll go so far as to say, no killings unless the horse's controller them self says that they are dead. If a horse dies, the player obviously can make another in place of it, and it won't count. Please, no random, bloody, fights. Fights should only be for ranks. (10 points)

Those are the basic rules, used for everybody on this RP. Now here are the rules for MistBand.
*MistBand is special, all the horses are Andalusian and white. If you want to join, your horse does not have to be Andalusian, but I would prefer it if it was white. Now, you can add special details about them such as Dappling, spots, "socks" etc. etc. That way everyone is unique in some way or another.
*The MistBand horses, if they were born and raised in it anyways, have a higher understanding of life. They are filled with wisdom and are very thoughtful. Many of the horses were from the original herd, (Which was created a very, very long time ago. Well, long time ago to us anyways. ) They are normally calm, and as I said before, prefer to be peacemakers than fighters.
*Lead Stallion and Mare are strictly from bloodlines only. Either the lead mare is from the previous lead mare and stallion, or the lead stallion is from the previous lead mare and stallion. On rare occasions the lead mare and stallion come from other bloodlines.

Her eyes are a pale blue and highlighted by a black tone, like eyeliner and her lashes are thick. Though she appears to be tall and sturdy like a Quarter Horse, she is still quite feminine and pretty. Her lower legs are dashed in black and her muzzle is a soft pink.
Human Appearance: Tall and fairly curvy, her arms being slightly muscular but most definately not to the point they bulge. Her skin is fair and her eyes are the same blue as they are in her horse form. Fainne's hair is long, straight, and a glossy jet-black, while her lips are full and crimson in color. The young lady's dress matches her lips, being a rich red with silky, flowing material. It is trained in the back, tightly corseted on the bodice, laced up with gold ribbon in the back, has extremely long and flowy, slightly see-through sleeves, and decorated in gold celtic patterns at the ends of the bodice. She wears earth-toned make up and heavy black mascara to make her lashes appear more dramatic, and paints her claw-like nails in gold polish. She wears a simple circlet to complement her outfit.
Personality: Quiet and generous, very wise for her age. Fainne is afraid of much, however, and does not like to stray too far from MistBand. Though she does have love interests she fears child birth and will not let stallions breed with her.

Extra Info: A young adult, about 19 or so in her human form and 4 or 5 in her horse. Her voice is very soft and child-like. She likes to carry around a golden lyre and serenade the area in soft, lulling tunes.

The Band of Rogues is basically a group of teenage outcasts; these fillies and colts were all kicked out of their own bands in some way, if they're not runaways. This handful of ponies contains foals that have come by their own will. They stir up trouble amongst the other three bands constantly.

Personality: Starka's own name means strong, which is essentially what she is; headstrong. With the will of a bull, she's one of the worst, if not the worst, member of the rogues to mess with. However, if you're kind to her, she'll return the favor. Very loyal to her band and resentful and loathing to anyone older than 3, she's an excellent fighter but still has issues socially from her early foalhood.

**"Life Story": The first thing Starka ever saw in her dam and sire's eyes was horror. Not the loving, caring, glowing with pride look that most foals got, but pure horror and disgust. The corn ear on her chest marked her as inferior, unworthy, and dangerous in her parents' eyes. She shall bring death upon those who... pieces of a stallion's voice penetrate her thoughts sometimes, causing her insides to burn with rage. By the time the other members of the band had noticed the mark, despite her parents' attempts to hide it, her parents had almost accomplished their task of weaning her.
Starka was a teary-eyed time bomb of a newborn, never understanding her band's hate for her. By the time she was on a malnutritious diet of grasses only, the plan had been made. Every foal from her band had gathered into a group, and were playing. Starka, as usual, sat on the outskirts of the field, sniffling and watching, longing to be participating. To her surprise, Eve, the most gorgeous, therefore popular, filly in the group trotted over to her. "Starka!" she squealed. "You always sit here alone. Don't you get lonely?" she asked. Starka's eyes widened. "But... B-But, I thought you guys didn't want me..." she whimpered, lifting her tiny head. She wasn't even a yearling yet. "You're so silly!" Eve giggled, and nosed Starka's shoulder. "W-Really?" she asked, fighting her baby speech off. "Of course!" The pair trotted into the swarm of foals. Starka was nuzzled and romped with until she reached the middle of the pack. Suddenly, a large colt 'accidentally' smashed into her tiny body with his hindquarters. With a squeal, she fell onto her side, the wind knocked out of her. Eve looked into the helpless doe-eyed face as the colt smashed her soft underbelly with his hoof, causing a scream to escape her lips as she scrambled to block his blow. This started a chorus of laughing whinnies as the other foals began to beat her along with the colt.
Along the lines of death, Starka limped into the woods as soon as dusk fell and the parents - who had known what was happening - called their foals to their sides and took them to bed. Starka was left to raise
herself into the head-strong, street smart filly that she is now until she met Isaac and paired with him.

There's obviously a lead stallion and mare. The lead stallion and mare must be mated, or "together", like in a real band. Other mated couples can go down the ranks together, but you don't need a mate to join or be higher up in ranks, just leader. **You can absolutely challenge the Lead Stallion. If the challenger wins, the leader and is out, but his mate is given the chance to fight if the challenger has a mate trying to climb up in ranks. If the Lead Stallion and his mate are beaten, they only go down one rank. There may be a Lead Stallion without a mate, or a Lead Mare without a mate.** Here's who is sitting where:

To join, just fill in the basic info about your horse. You may make an orphaned foal, if you'd like. Also, even if this isn't too realistic, there may be a stallion for every mare in this band. It leads to some fighting, but we learn to deal with it. Please, please, please note this; just because a horse isn't ranked highly doesn't mean it's a failure. Not every horse can be a shining palomino ranked one spot beneath the lead couple.

***Chincoteague Ponies almost always have patches or spots.
SeaBand roams the whole island of Assateague. They have no boundaries outside of humans. Their biggest fear is the annual Chincoteague round-up, where humans called "saltwater cowboys" round up the band and drive them through town, and across the Assateague channel from Assateague island onto Chincoteague island. There they are penned up, some of the foals auctioned away to visitors and locals. There is a carnival around after the event. It seems to be fun for humans, but the many people scare the small amount of ponies that get rounded up, about 150. Some of the ponies, however, love the event, and the attention. It seems to be fun for the small children that unknowingly stroke the wild foal's noses as they are waiting to be sold. Their parents will scold them for touching a wild animal, but the magic of a small child is a new event for the ponies, sometimes soothing.
SeaBand is a smaller band, and it only contains Chincoteague Ponies. They are thought to have descended from Spanish horses that swam to the island's shore after a shipwreck. They formed a new, unique, breed as they roamed along the coast. It is still a mystery, although. Some people say it is more likely that they descend from released livestock in the 1700s. Their mystery is part of the magic of Chincoteague Ponies.

**"Life Story": Fuco was born into SeaBand, and doesn't plan to leave. He's a gorgeous shining roan with white patches a temper, but he has loads of empathy and compassion, and a good heart. Timache sees through his tough exterior, and he's a softie, like most stallions. He will put up a great fight when fighting for something that's his, or that he believes is right. Fuco is the fastest in the band by far, but he doesn't have the best endurance. Fuco's old main goal in life was to be lead stallion, but when he met Timache, he gave up that goal, as she wasn't too into him fighting every day.

It sounds sappy, but she's always there for everyone. Although she has a calm aura around her, and many think of her as quiet, she will put up a very good fight for anything she believes is right. Aiyana has piercing blue eyes, and a soft pink muzzle with a large snip extending towards the middle of her head. A tiny, barely existing white star is centered on her forehead. Though fairly innocent and small in appearance, Aiyana should never be underestimated.
Personality: Often easygoing, but easy to frustrate especially if teased or flirted with. Can be rather hotheaded, and doesn't really like stallions because of her bad experiences with them. This doesn't mean she can't be friends with them however. She just isn't interested in a mate.

**"Life Story": Aiyana used to be a part of the Traitor's Band, and has lived there ever since she and her mother were kidnapped. After her mother who she was very close to was killed as a result of refusing to breed a month or so ago, she grew frustrated with the stallions of the herd and barely managed to escape. Aiyana heard of SeaBand as she lived her days as a lone mare, and eventually decided to search for it once she heard what it was like.

Satinka's tail is very thick, volumous, and black, coming down to her hocks; while her mane is of the same color and texture with a hint of white coming from her withers. The mare's forelock is rather wild and long. Often considered cute.
Personality: Very humble and kind, ready to serve anyone at any time. Always patient and polite.
Family Members: Aside from her parents living far away, none.
Extra Info: She's about eight years old and a purebred Welsh Cob. Her voice is very gentle and filly-like.
**"Life Story": She was born at a Welsh Cob breeding farm and sold off to a little girl as a gift one day. Once she was old enough, the girl's parents taught Satinka how to jump and eventually became her primary riding horse. The two became so good that they eventually entered in shows and were often considered champions, and also very good friends with a close bond. One day before a show, the small truck pulling Satinka's trailer was T-boned by a much larger truck and tumbled off the rode, damaged terribly. The mare's trailer wasn't in very good shape either, but fortunately the door had fallen off so she could escape. MistBand is a band of feral, Andalusian horses, each one a pristine white. They reside on the farthest edge of the island, but roam every once and a while. They are quiet, calm creatures, prefering not to fight and are known as peace-makers. They are sea dwellers, longing to live near it and hear the sound of its refreshing waves, the scent of the salty breeze, the feel of the warm sand upon their feet. A secret follows them though, something they've kept hidden for many years.......
Here are the rules for MistBand, some of them are the original, some I have made sepcially for MistBand.
*No really bad language, obviously. Just keep in mind the age of people on here. INCLUDING using the Lord's name in vain, saying "This s*cks!", or cr*p. (20 points)
*No "explicit content". No bloody stuff, or anything else bad. Stallions and mares may fight, but you can't just run up and kill someone. You need "permission", sneak attack or not. Actually, I'll go so far as to say, no killings unless the horse's controller them self says that they are dead. If a horse dies, the player obviously can make another in place of it, and it won't count. Please, no random, bloody, fights. Fights should only be for ranks. (10 points)

Those are the basic rules, used for everybody on this RP. Now here are the rules for MistBand.
*MistBand is special, all the horses are Andalusian and white. If you want to join, your horse does not have to be Andalusian, but I would prefer it if it was white. Now, you can add special details about them such as Dappling, spots, "socks" etc. etc. That way everyone is unique in some way or another.
*The MistBand horses, if they were born and raised in it anyways, have a higher understanding of life. They are filled with wisdom and are very thoughtful. Many of the horses were from the original herd, (Which was created a very, very long time ago. Well, long time ago to us anyways. ) They are normally calm, and as I said before, prefer to be peacemakers than fighters.
*Lead Stallion and Mare are strictly from bloodlines only. Either the lead mare is from the previous lead mare and stallion, or the lead stallion is from the previous lead mare and stallion. On rare occasions the lead mare and stallion come from other bloodlines.

Horse Appearance: Her coat is of buckskin overo and her mane and tail and long, black, and cut well at the ends. Very well groomed. Her eyes are a pale blue and highlighted by a black tone, like eyeliner and her lashes are thick. Though she appears to be tall and sturdy like a Quarter Horse, she is still quite feminine and pretty. Her lower legs are dashed in black and her muzzle is a soft pink.
Human Appearance: Tall and fairly curvy, her arms being slightly muscular but most definately not to the point they bulge. Her skin is fair and her eyes are the same blue as they are in her horse form. Fainne's hair is long, straight, and a glossy jet-black, while her lips are full and crimson in color. The young lady's dress matches her lips, being a rich red with silky, flowing material. It is trained in the back, tightly corseted on the bodice, laced up with gold ribbon in the back, has extremely long and flowy, slightly see-through sleeves, and decorated in gold celtic patterns at the ends of the bodice. She wears earth-toned make up and heavy black mascara to make her lashes appear more dramatic, and paints her claw-like nails in gold polish. She wears a simple circlet to complement her outfit.
Personality: Quiet and generous, very wise for her age. Fainne is afraid of much, however, and does not like to stray too far from MistBand. Though she does have love interests she fears child birth and will not let stallions breed with her.

The Band of Rogues is basically a group of teenage outcasts; these fillies and colts were all kicked out of their own bands in some way, if they're not runaways. This handful of ponies contains foals that have come by their own will. They stir up trouble amongst the other three bands constantly.

Personality: Starka's own name means strong, which is essentially what she is; headstrong. With the will of a bull, she's one of the worst, if not the worst, member of the rogues to mess with. However, if you're kind to her, she'll return the favor. Very loyal to her band and resentful and loathing to anyone older than 3, she's an excellent fighter but still has issues socially from her early foalhood.

**"Life Story": The first thing Starka ever saw in her dam and sire's eyes was horror. Not the loving, caring, glowing with pride look that most foals got, but pure horror and disgust. The corn ear on her chest marked her as inferior, unworthy, and dangerous in her parents' eyes. She shall bring death upon those who... pieces of a stallion's voice penetrate her thoughts sometimes, causing her insides to burn with rage. By the time the other members of the band had noticed the mark, despite her parents' attempts to hide it, her parents had almost accomplished their task of weaning her.
Starka was a teary-eyed time bomb of a newborn, never understanding her band's hate for her. By the time she was on a malnutritious diet of grasses only, the plan had been made. Every foal from her band had gathered into a group, and were playing. Starka, as usual, sat on the outskirts of the field, sniffling and watching, longing to be participating. To her surprise, Eve, the most gorgeous, therefore popular, filly in the group trotted over to her. "Starka!" she squealed. "You always sit here alone. Don't you get lonely?" she asked. Starka's eyes widened. "But... B-But, I thought you guys didn't want me..." she whimpered, lifting her tiny head. She wasn't even a yearling yet. "You're so silly!" Eve giggled, and nosed Starka's shoulder. "W-Really?" she asked, fighting her baby speech off. "Of course!" The pair trotted into the swarm of foals. Starka was nuzzled and romped with until she reached the middle of the pack. Suddenly, a large colt 'accidentally' smashed into her tiny body with his hindquarters. With a squeal, she fell onto her side, the wind knocked out of her. Eve looked into the helpless doe-eyed face as the colt smashed her soft underbelly with his hoof, causing a scream to escape her lips as she scrambled to block his blow. This started a chorus of laughing whinnies as the other foals began to beat her along with the colt.
Along the lines of death, Starka limped into the woods as soon as dusk fell and the parents - who had known what was happening - called their foals to their sides and took them to bed. Starka was left to raise
herself into the head-strong, street smart filly that she is now until she met Isaac and paired with him.
