Blowing your nose in class - rude or acceptable?

Wha'd'ya suppose the shorthand for this is?

The prof's only two feet away from me, and he walks back and forth to use the boards on either side of the room. At least when the recorder is with me I can turn it his direction.

I'm seriously considering the farting response. That would certainly get some attention...

If he wrote it on the board, use your camera phone.

*snort*

Well continually taking pictures couldn't possibly be any more disruptive than nose blowing.

The "don't drink with your mouth full of food" was to stop the boy/s from washing his food down with whatever drink was handy, so they could shovel it in faster. (But now my grandson can't eat with out doing this thanks to his uncouth mother) Burping and Gas ...again directed at the boys mostly but to be fair to all was a general order of table manners. Definatley leave the table for nose blowing (too easy to miss the tissue) and wash your hands before coming back to table.
I too, believe that a person should leave the room during a lecture or conference to blow their nose so as not to disturb others. Apart from being rude it is unhygenic as the tissue does not always catch all. if I was in their shoes I would just wipe quietly if not allowed to leave the room.

We went to the movies the other night and I swear the dude next to us did......OMGosh was he annoying as ever. If he would of just went and blown his nose all the way once actually no that would not of even helped.

Maybe the movie was just not that interesting?
