Sorry to hear you lost her.  You did what you can.

Bleach works for a coop and some use Oxine (I think that's the name).  Some diseases won't last more than a few days outside of the chickens so I wouldn't worry to much about the sanitizing part.

After I lost my first flock every time a new bird would sneeze or act weird I panicked.  Just keep an eye on the Cochin.  If a disease got into your flock more than one bird would be showing it by now.

the big cochin rounder is looking worse today.   should I just give her an injection of tylan.... she is one of our favorite so I am worried.  I am going to feed her medicated food with the coxi medicine and worm her,  what do you suggest for worming.... I have used ivermectin per the vets direction it is a wormer paste and now I am confused... what do you thinkkkk

rounder is really bad today, she is walking on the tops of her feet and does not want to eat or drink... I wormed her with ivermectin paste wormer and will see what happens... I will give her a shot of tylan maybe tomorrow but I dont see any signs of respiratory distress or infection of any kind... I am so sad I just love rounder and she is our little butter ball.  she is very thin now and is just doing bad... I pray the wormer helps her...
