Hi Everyone! I know I have been pestering everyone the last week or so about my hen that is ill. A couple days ago she pooped out a cream colored blob of poop that smelled so bad it made me want to puke. She did it again today, but it wasn't a blob, it looks more like a cooked strip of lasagna noodle or something and the texture is very thick. When I say noodle, no it looks nothing like a worm and yes I have wormer (Valbezen) on order for worming! Anyways, I also included a few other pictures of what her poop has been looking like the last week or so. She isn't eating much, only wants to eat meal worms. Turns her nose up at cooked oatmeal, scrambled eggs, warm mash, and now yogurt. She did eat the scrambled egg once, and the oatmeal several times as well as the yogurt, but now she won't really eat them. Occasionally she will eat her layer pellets. She is so severely under weight I don't know if she will make it. I noticed she had lice when bathing her thinking she was egg bound but she hasn't passed an egg and I am treating her for lice. I think her abdomen is distended but she is so under weight it is hard to tell. I took her in this last November and I really don't have much history on her other then she might be a year or two old and that she lays brown eggs, but I don't think she has laid and egg since we have had her. Anyways, I'm really just wanting some insight as to why she is pooping the white masses out that smell so bad it will make you puke. For the most part, her poop looks like the last picture, the green and white, which I read the green means her bile is concentrated due to not eating enough food. Poor girl!
