Should I knock this one on the head?!

Im still having a problem with Vent Gleet. Just when I think that Ive licked it it comes back again.
I really like Chester my wonderful rooster but if he is the reason this is still making the rounds..............
I have a few hens that are really scraggly looking, but they dont seem to have V Gleet badly. Just rough looking. The pic is the only one that turned out but she isnt the worst off. If theyre old I dont mind doing them in but a young one?
My little girl with no tail has it too and she doesnt like yogurt or apple cider vinegar.
any suggestions?

Vent gleet is exactly like/or is a yeast infection and can be treated with Monostat...a over the counter med for women.

I have about 8 with this and I'm not sure how I would treat them with mono stat. Are you talking about the suppository or the cream?
Ive been dealing with this for a long time. I'm hoping I can treat them as a crowd with something as the yogurt and apple cider vinegar doesn't seem to be doing the trick. 1or 2 are really sick and I'm thinking of culling them. If I do I don't think they will be good enough to eat would they? Not sure Id want to eat them anyway!
Can I give something in their food or water.

maybe you could do a search for treatment. have not had this yet

you could try an oral antibiotic like amoxicillin...or an injectible like baytril...does tylan work on vent gleet? you could put that in their water.

Antibiotics certainly will not help they will likely make it worst.... First off, add The ACV to the water and take all other water away........... they will drink it when they get thirsty enough.
second you must treat the rooster as well as the hens and this is probably why you keep getting it back........ its a common thing in humans that a male exposed to it can carry it and give it back to you, so the rooster must also be treated.................. I would use a natural treatment, but f you can't find the things that will help Monostat will most likely work........ how to apply it to a rooster??? I have no ideaa??.
I would first bath them in a mild soap with lavender oil added this will kill anything on the outside.. then add to their diet.. aloe vera, barberry, olive leaf, and or goldenseal extract. mix it in eggs or whatever they love and will readily eat......... also add Kefir, or good natural yogurt, or some kind of acidophilus culture ,.powder from a capsule is fine. sprinkle it on the food. Oh I forgot to add get rid of any sugars they are currently eating sugar is a big no no with any kind of yeast or fungal infection.. it feeds it.. that means no fruits or treats containing sugar like bananas, or apples grapes...ect. also no starch which converts to sugars. like pasta and bread....., if their getting corn delete it for now thers already some in the layer mashes or pellets its also high in sugar.well the body turns it into sugar..... if you need to use a treat to add meds. use plain old oats, with some wheat germ added and yogurt or kefir even buttermilk is good..... or scrambled eggs that's my old stand by, even sick chickens will usually eat those...

3 TBLS per gallon or if small container 1 quart a Tsp....

Every time I get on this emergency site, I learn some other devastating thing my ladies could get at some point. Is there no end? This sounds horrible. Hope they can be fixed.
