12 American Dominique Hatching eggs

I am very interested in this breed, but am having a hard time finding information on them. How cold/heat hardy are they and do they need preventative care for their combs and wattles against frostbite? How many eggs do they lay per week?
I also saw you sell heirloom seed. How many seed are there per pack?
Thank you.

They do fine in the cold (it gets below zero here quite often in the winter) as well as heat (for NH, anyway). They are a rose comb bird, so they aren't as susceptible to frostbite on their combs as a single comb bird. You will get an egg about every day and a half, on average. You can find lots of info here:

As for the seed, the number depends on the type of seed.

Thanks for your inquiry.

Yeah the Doms as I call them are a great bird They are a pretty laid back not mean or anything we have 20 hens and 3 roos the rose comb is much shorter and flatter so their body heat keeps them from frost bite
