Why did my chickens suddenly stop laying?

I have a barred rock, blue laced wyandotte, buff orpington, and buff brahma, all hens, and all just under a year old.

The blue went broody and stopped laying. As soon as she started coming out of her broodiness, the others stopped laying...but they don't seem broody.

I've had an automatic light that adds three hours of light to the day. I started using light right when it was time for them to start laying because that's when our days became short, and I couldn't stand to wait until spring to receive my first eggs...impatient, I know.

I'll admit that I've never seen a chicken molt, but they're not shedding feathers.

And our weather hasn't changed much: 60s during the day.

Is it just that time of year? Should I turn off the light? Will that allow them to molt? How long does molting last for? I love my chickens, but I also love their eggs!

Thanks for your advice, trusty chicken lovers!
