They are now 7 weeks old and been outside for a week

the one in from is the most tame of all 21 of them she will get up in my lap.

I think that this is a barred rock, right?

Awesome, thanks for sharing!! Mine are about 3 weeks now, and I love to see the "timeline" I have to look forward too.

I just bought nipples to make some waterers like the bucket one you have.. when did you introduce it to them, and how?

I introduced it to them a few weeks ago when they were inside but it was too messy so they just got it again last week. Just put it above their head a little and they will find it, or at least mine did. I leave the top open so that rain will fill it.

Thanks for the pictures! My chicks are 4 weeks old now. It's fun to see what they'll look like in a few more weeks! They grow entirely too fast!

So when is it safe to put them outside?? should you wait till they are completely feathered out?

Who knew this would be come an addiction! I currently have 13 hens and 1 large light brahma rooster. We also have somelittle ones but as I have learned here they don't count. I have started building coops to Sell. I have come up with a company name Olde Tyme Coops hopefully it works out!
