24 days, no peeps, no pips how long do I wait? SAD PICTURES ADDED

Well, one reads 100 and the other still reads 98. Humidity is 68. No peeps. Should I give up tomorrow? It will be day 26.

My last batch that we hatched a couple weeks ago, we had a "surprise" baby on day 25. I had left the eggs that didn't hatch on day 21 and 22 in the 'bator and was about to get rid of them when I saw a pip in one. He didn't take long to get out once he pipped, and he's been fine ever since! However, if they don't hatch in the next day or two I would say they're done... I know how disappointing it can be, but this is a learning experience for me each and every time!

https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/hatching-eggs-and-raising-chicks Great information here, and I've learned a lot from this site the past year.

I wish you all the best!

Well, day 28 came and I finally decided to face reality. My babies weren't going to hatch. I opened them up to see if it would give me any clues about what I did wrong. They all had good air sacs. They weren't sticky or dry. What else am I suppose to look for? 2 looked like they didn't start at all, 1 looked like it started and that's it, 3 started but didn't get very far, and 1 almost made it. I am so sad. Can you tell what went wrong with pictures? I posted them just in case. VERY SAD LAST PICTURE so don't look if you don't want to see it.

You need a HUG!

I am so sorry. I would be a puddle of tears. I honestly avoided reading the past couple of days because I'm too tender hearted. I am soo sooo sorry.

So sorry that happened to you. Opening those eggs that don't hatch can be pretty traumatic, you don't know what you're going to see. The only thing I can think of is perhaps the ones that didn't develop became infected and caused bacteria to affect the other eggs. This is a stab in the dark but bacterial infection is a serious reason why eggs don't develop. The other thing could be the health of the parent birds. If they weren't fed properly you can have failure to develop with the fertile eggs.
