Introducing new chicks

We currently have 9 hens and 1 roo; they are Americauanas. We are planning on getting some golden sex-links or rhode island reds (pullets). We were wondering what the best strategy would be to introduce the new chicks to the older birds and what problems we could run into as they are confined due to predators.
 
the younger the chicks the better, don't know why maybe full grown chickens do not find chicks to be a threat to their pecking order in the flock.
