Okay thanks I was getting worried that they were different some how. I was hoping I wasn't hurting them unintentionally.
Cutting protein....

In the past, when i had feed with too high of a protein level, i cut with oatmeal. But oatmeal is 19% which is about where their levels need to be at this age, so in most cases it isnt going to help ya. Whole oats, from TSC for example, can be found with only around 9% protein. Which is good for cutting so long as they are still gettin their nutritional needs met with he rest of their feed. Course, im no avian vet! Thats my disclaimer. Lol

Can I use crimped oats? that's all my feed store has.
I used steam rolled oats, which is similar; just blend it up in a food processor a bit first. I was also told to offer chick grit.
