4011905623245D.jpgim getting some jumbo coturnix quail and was wondering if this would make a good cage for them or not?

is .75" wire spacing big enough for jumbo coturnix to squeeze through?

i think some folk keep their birds in wire like that, its not them escaping you need to worry about. Its about something else getting in. Those holes are large enough for anything to reach on in and distrupt all them, tear at them, eat them. Its a sutible cage yea, but i'd cover/replace the wire with 1/4'' around the sides, then i'd raise it off the ground with 1/2" on the bottom(hardware cloth)

 Wife, 2 sons, 2 dogs, 2 Coturnix Quails, and  4 Black & Mottled Bantam Cochins. Getting ready to move to France, pm me if you live over there!

wouldnt the quail go inside at night?

No...the quail will only seek shelter if the weather warranted it, which might be never. X2 on the wire spacing and critters getting in. You would need to cover that with 1/4 inch hardware cloth and do something so things will not dig under to get in. Either cover the bottom with screen or bury fencing very deeply around it.
