Hi all, my name is Tiffany and I adore your site already! I found it totally by accident through a web search 
My husband and I recently moved out to the country, with lots of land. We already have 5 free ranging peacocks that live in the barn
We are in the process of converting an existing breeding pigeon loft into a chicken coop (the previous owners raced homing pigeons). There is a small animal tailgate swap coming up at the end of the month and we plan to buy some chickens and maybe more peahens if they have some. My husband had fancies when he was little, I've never had chickens, so I am really excited and a bit nervous lol.
I will probably have lots of newbie questions, but I plan to read through all the wonderful material you have here before I start posting. Any advice for a newbie would be welcomed, I want to make sure we have everything all set up before we bring them home. We are thinking to let them free range, after they are here long enough to get to know the sounds and smells of their new home.
