Ayam Cemani

Does any BYCer have this breed or at least know anyone who has this breed?

Also, what color eggs do these lay?

I'm just curious, if any of our 12,000+ members have them. fl

Thanks

Thomas Naegele lives in the US, and I think he has or did have some Cemani .  I used to have his email address but don't anymore. You could probably find it on line some place.

I am breeding Ayam cemani 2 years. I bought  1 cock and 4 hens in Germany on poultry market in Straubing in 2006.

Now I have round 40 chickens  born on 15th march 2008. Next year 2009 will be the European poultry show in Slovakia in Nitra city, so I will show them there.

Wow, I think those are some of the blackest birds I've ever seen, aside from a Silkie.  Even the combs are nearly perfectly black!  They also have a weird head on the roos.  Interesting.

Funny Peter, those are a link to OUR downloads smile Wow if there was someone in the US with Cemanis, that would be incredible! Maybe you could import them from that fellow with the cemani webpage in europe, but the price he'd charge plus shipping, you might have to morgage the house.
