Omega - 3?

Insects, grass and exercise help the omega-3 profile of eggs and chicken meat, according to some sources. Also flax seeds, purslane (a weed) and of course fish are high in it.

Most articles I've read about Omega 3 says that the beneficial form comes from fish sources, not the flaxseed or plant based form. So really, in my opinion, the Omega 3 in layer feed is just a gimmick. You're better off just eating fish. I think eggs are healthy enough and don't need to be pimped up.
 
Chickens (and people) can convert what's in flax to omega-3... Not fully and not at a great proportion of what's eaten, but still helpful.
