My guess is your phone compresses the file or makes it smaller to email. Do you have the option to send the large file? My iPhone gives me the option. Sorry I can't help more.

My Ustream channel with my 3 hatched ducklings! Yayy! They all made it.

She is definately a cayuga duck. And she's beautiful! I have four cayugas, they are wonderful birds, Here is a picture of mine around the same age (3weeks?)IMGP5982.JPG

You can expect the possibility of some remarkable feathers and you're right they look like they are smiling.

My ducks are six weeks old today, this was them yesterday in the yard, enjoying the sun after a rainy day6 weeks old, we call her 'greenie' for now because she is the most green

And a group shot from yesterday. I can't believe they are 6 weeks old today. wee.gifMy seven quackistas at 6 weeks

You know ive been wondering about the life span and cant seem to find an answer. i would probably say aroun 10-12 years if its well cared for an healthy and not the exhibition type which are much much larger and get health problems early in thier lives. and thanks :D

For the most part, yes.  Do your pics look clear on your phone?  Even when you zoom into them?  Maybe they are fuzzy when you take them.  Or the lens is dirty?  It could be a number of things.  Keep trying.  You will figure it out.  :)

Your babies are gorgeous!! I named my two Pickles & Kiwi and they are now getting those brillant green feathers.  They are 5 weeks today and getting more beautiful every minute.  They are the sweetest things ever. I walk in the room and their trying to climb in my lap the whole time I'm around them. I also have 10 runners the same age and only about 4 of them try to get to me. Of the other 6, 4 I can handle and pet on but the other 2 won't have anything to do with me until bath time. I'm so glad I got the Cayugas because now I think they just might be the ducks for me. I do want to get some Welshies though cause they are just beautiful and are my favorite ducks as far as looks go.

Here is a pic of Pickle... She was doing her little pickle dance. love.gif  I wish you could see the green better tough.

And here is Kiwi..  She has droopy wings but other than that doing great. She likes to talk all the time!!

Ducky219502,

Thanks for the welcome!  I use a digital camera set at a medium file size setting, then download them to my computer.  I don't own an i-phone so can't answer as to setting up the picture taking on one.

I have cayugas too!  I just love the colors on them, especially when the sun hits their feathers.  They are about 9 weeks old and are so much fun to watch015.JPG.  Not sure if they're male or female yet.
