What did you do in the garden today?

Here is what my bee hive looks like after my friend paint the design for me!!
Love the bee hive! And when they keep putting out the lovely plants where we can see them no one could expect us to resist! Oh and if you have too many tomatoes for your regular beds, do what we do, plant them in 15 gallon nursery pots (20s if I can get them cheap enough). Besides, it's a scientific fact that you can't have too many tomatoes. That's just science. :D

I was thinking that I could put the extra plants in the hoop garden that I have asked my hubby to make for me, but then I realized I still wouldn't have any place to plant the other things I want to grow! :lau
I think I just need to double the size of my garden! We are going to build a raised bed like @BReeder! did. However, the original plan was to build it this year and slowly fill it with compost/dirt over the course of a year and then have it ready for next year. Hmm, I may have to rethink that plan.

Good morning gardeners. Really cold again overnight. It finally got above 32F and heading into the mid 40's today. The temps are forecasted to go up a little bit, but aside from today and Saturday rain, rain and more rain. So maybe I can plant the first week of May. I think I may plant the potatoes and then cover them with plastic for now. One of my jalapeno seedlings just popped up out of the dirt. The other jalapeno and the poblano are still tiny green arches. One of my lilac bushes are beginning to bloom. Only solid plans for the garden today is to finish putting the lattice on the new garden bed. I got up at 5 am to go to the grocery store during senior hours. I feel like I won the lottery when I found a 24 roll pack pf TP. The only thing that had limits were the bleach wipes. So I have enough groceries and paper to keep me going for at least another month. Keep on planting everyone and have a great day.

Another 80 degree day. We need rain desperately.
I've been running the giant irrigators in the pasture for three days, on and off of course. The lawn should not be crunch and cracking in APRIL!

Cabbage seeds are up, a couple of squash seeds as well. Tomato seedlings are on their way.

Set 6 eggs under two hens, am down to three and two of those are questionable. Sigh.

The other hens found the bad eggs and had at them. 17 day eggs. :sick

I have on in the workshop in spa on antibiotic shots. We'll see.

Have a great day all.
