I'll step to be one of the food managers.

I did the pot-luck thread this year and I can do it again.

I will also make sure that each serving dish is labeled so it goes home with its owner at the end of the day.

I can be a Photographer. I like taking lots of pictures. I can borrow my dad's camera, or my sister-in-law's. Great cameras.

I could do anything.  I might be interested in the photography area so I'll call that out for now (Farmerboy16 and I).  If my DW has other ideas on what I should do I'll let you know, lol!

She'll probably want a task too. I'll get her to take a peek at the tasks.

Should someone keep a raffle thread for items?  I know they had one for buy/swap/sell but not raffle.  I like the idea of pitching a dollar in a jar when you set down your raffle prize.  Not so much a raffle ticket, more of a voluntary dollar to help with rental costs.  I'd bet everyone would.  This year everyone got a prize and ten OPA kept calling peoples names but most everyone meandered away so there was stuff left over.  Why can't it be limited to one item.  If you have a few things they could be bundled as one item.  That way once you are called you are done.  Seems ok to me?  Just my two centavos.

Mr. Wynette is the grillmaster - has been for every one of them thus far, and he'd love to continue unless someone else would like to take that over.

Should we go ahead & set a date for the 2013 event?

I'd love to do the Animal Drawing, that would be so much fun!

Yes two picture takers is a great idea maybe one take pics of people and one of the animals.

Yes lets set the date, why can't we make it the third Saturday in June every year so everyone will have in their memory that the third Saturday in June is CS

Good idea John only one item and maybe when you call a name the next person has to wait till the one before them picks that way you won't feel rushed.

Raz, good idea with making sure dishes are marked, I want to make 7 layer bean dip next year, put me down for that. Is there electric there at the pavillion? To plug in crock pots?

Just a thought wouldn't it be better if we were set up better, more in a row because I missed some people and animals I have 2 10X10 and 1 10X20 canopies. I should have brought my truck that way I could have brought one at least I was hot had to keep moving till I moved over by the woods.

There was power in the pavilion for crock pots.

I think I'll get there early next year and make coffee.

I would be willing to be greeter or share the spot with granny. I don't want to take that position away from her but would share it if she wanted to continue (isn't that her job) it....would give her some time to mingle & relax. Or I'd even be a MC.....I'm often told that I'm too loud at times!! Plus I know my DH would help with any thing we assigned him to!
