Does anyone know of a swap meet this summer or fall in the Denver area? I know there used to be one in Brighton, but I and having a hard time finding information on it now. Thanks!

Morning mylilchix
If we have Roos to find new homes for, do we just show up with them in the carriers or do we need to call ahead of time?

Thanks,
Cara

All you do is show up. If you are not a member of the club (Rocky Mountain Pheasant and Waterfowl) then there is a $10 sellers fee. Otherwise, its $5.

There will not be one in August as there is one tomorrow. The next one after tomorrows will be in September.

There is one in Greeley every month and its the first Saturday of the month. No selling fee. We went there last weekend, but hardly anyone there. We did still sell birds though.

You do have to get there early for the Brighton one though as the place is usaully PACKED.

July 11 & 12 is a good weekend for poultry swaps in Colorado. J&T Feeds has one Sat July 11, free! They are on west side of Greeley on business loop Hwy 34. Its not as big & crowded as Brighton but I've always sold birds. I'll be bringing a Brabanter rooster, some silkie and bantam cochin chicks.
July 12 is the bigger swap at Brighton Grain & Feed. Cost to sellers but alot of people show up. Pretty good variety of poultry. Both places are decent to sell roosters....
