Because we had so many entries, we have to use 2 polls since there are up to 30 answers per poll.

Part 2 of the entries!

My sons 4-H project, he raises Millies and Slim and he are best buds, Slim is so quiet and never mean.

He loves to sit on his shoulder, and also does showmanship and loves to pose for him.

My son is 13 and I am entering "slim" for him.

Name: Napoleon (Although, we like to call him Old Man Teaberry.)

Age: 6

Breed: Birchen Modern Game Bantam

He's a real cutie, and quite the little stud. He hops up onto your back when you're cleaning up his hutch, and lets you hold him. A very tame little guy. As of Saturday, he is now a proud father of two. We've been housing him with the two broodies and their chicks, and he's very gentle with them. Not to mention, he's all legs!

The 4 bantams got rock themed names and at first the gray/blue chick was named Sapphire until the comb started developing and I realized it was a boy so convinced son to change name to Flint. LOL

We were new to chickens and hoped he would turn out as a she. My daughter fell in love with him the day we brought him home at 2 days old. They were inseparable--unfortunately an owl got him when he was about 5 months old-haven't had another like him since.

I love Fred with all my heart!! He is my very first chicken ever! He is very sweet, and growing very quickly!! Still not crowing, that I have heard.

He is very friendly and likes petting, but not big on being held

JJ (short for JJ the Jet Plane)
Age: Almost a year old

User: Mrshollywood
He is quite the ladies man... He got his name because when he sees a cute hen that wonders off from the main roo Fred he takes off full blast with his wings out and chases her. He looks just like a plane taking off!!

LLLL

Name: Tarzan

Age: Unknown

Breed: Red Jungle Fowl

User: EyeHeartBantams

I named him Tarzan mostly due to his breed; he's a brave, proud little rooster that defends his girls and isn't scared to try and startle the dogs or goats away from their run. He's also quite friendly and always eager to come running for his feed and a pat. Here's a picture of Tarzan guarding his girls. Wish I had a picture of him trying to fight with the Welsummer roo from the next run over, and was three times his size.

Tarzan and his girls escaping the hot sun in their dog kennel shelter.

Name: Dodo

Age: 4 months 1 week

Breed: Red Shouldered Yokohama

User: Chicksrulefarm

Dodo is starting to put his foot down and letting the others roos know that he is in charge. He always wins, standing on his long legs and looking down on two other bantams: short legged Japanese Chamo and little shy Belgian d'Uccle cockerels.

Name: Winkie

Age: 4 month 1 week

Breed: Self-blue Belgian d'Uccle

User: Chicksrulefarm

Winkie always winks at me, and that is how he got his name. He is very brave for his size, and the first one to stand up to the older dominant hens that are three times large than him.

Name: BB

Age 2 years

Breed: blue Cochin Bantam

User: Parrmom

He is a lover for sure even though he left the farm for a while! He lets everyone know he is in charge including our turkey:

Name: Georgia

Age: 3 1/2 months

User: tuesdaylove

About: He's the dominant rooster and he always tries to act really tough, but unlike Dixon, he can't even crow yet and the hens like Dixon better!

Mark 11:22-23

"Have faith in God," Jesus answered. "I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him.
