My mother had a Brownie box camera. That thing took some of the best darn pictures, short of owning a professional camera. They were not overly expensive, fairly lightweight, so easy to carry around, film was very affordable, and the picture quality was great. Hers had a flash attachment. You had to buy packages of bulbs for the flash. Thanks for mentioning it, and bringing back the memories.

My 4x5 is in a back back and may never get out again. No place for a dark room here. Think I may put it on eBay one day when I have the time.
 
We put in a productive garden as the heat allowed us. So much more to get done and there is still plenty of time to get it done. Kind of glad it is not all up and growing with the storm taking aim at us with the potential for a lot of hail tonight.
