My crested Magpie duck is just ridiculous looking. I love her "hair" and her speckle bill. Anyone else have ridiculous looking ducks, feel free to post a pic and a description of your feathered clown.

I'm not a supporter of the Crested Gene but she looks very pretty to me.

LOL, how old is your magpie? This is mine and her buddy, she's about 8 weeks old. I call them "ducks with hats".




The other one is a runner, I was told she would be white, but she's turning tan all over...
 
BigBlock- the buff is not a runner- she may be a cross bred, her shape is not runner like at all. Sorry that you have been misled about what you have.



This is Elvis Cresley. His crest is half way down his neck- he was a very odd looking drake.
 
She might be a mix but I think she's got some runner in her...she loves to stand up tall and run around - much faster and harder to catch than the magpie.
