Coturnix Quail Thread

I've got a bunch of mixed colors in the brooder/grow out pen right now, and another 50 eggs in the bator. My grow out pen is a guinea pig habitat that I got online; it has a plasticized canvas bottom, which is messier than raising them on wire, but for my purposes it works great. I sweep up the droppings with a small broom every two or three days and just vacuum them out. I can't wait for my eggs to hatch, it's always so exciting!

Anybody want 5 or 6 Pharoh roosters. They are about 8 weeks old at this point. Very healthy and ready to breed. I live in eastern PA.

I only have 7 hens so I cant keep them all even though I'd like to.

I have yet to be able to hatch one of my quail eggs from these guys. What am i doing wrong? What hummity do you guys use and what temps? I have 5 females and one male in the cage. Used to have two males but one beat up the other one so bad i had to move him. He is living a very happy life with my red golden pheasant pair.

The humidity is 40/60 (40=1st 14 days and 60 the last few days during lock down). I also have success with dry incubation (32) and then increase to 55-60 humidity during lock down. If your eggs do fertilize, chance your male may not be any good.
