How do you pronounce "diatomacious" earth?

dI a toe may shus, accent on may
My feed store carries it... donno about elsewhere... and I pronounce it Die-Oh-Toe-May-Shus (like shush without the H) donno if that's correct or not, but the folks at the shop know what I'm talking about... though they keep it over near the 'other' stall deodorizers.

More likely a pet store or Pet Co-op. Farmers Co-op. Or agri store.
