How to stop chicken from attacking me?

My hens don't peck me. My rooster will try to come at me so I have to give treats so he sees I'm not a threat. The only time he won't come at me is if my husband goes into the coop with me. But I have to admit the water gun is a good idea also.

oh wow! I've been pretty lucky that I've never had a female do that. I did have a oops it's a male rooster once who would peck me EVERY time I fed and EVERY time I would go to play with the other girls and EVERY time I watered. He probably would have been a protective little guy of my girls but I had to RE/home him..anyway are you absolutely positive she is not a he????
 
I have the same problem at first it was one of my polish chickens ( I only have 2) now the other one has been attaching my feet the first one has even gone as far as jump up at me and kick her feet up towards me I’ll yell at her. I have them in a pen and go in it every day they use to eat out of my hands but not anymore . If I try to clean the pen they attach my rake.
