Greetings and Salutations,

My name is Michelle,I am from NW Florida and fairly new to raising chickens. I have been doing it for about 8 or 9 months. I dove
in head first with the help of a great friend that at the time had a flock of about 300,but has since downsized to about 25.I knew that I when I started my vegetable garden that I was going to get a couple of chick for the eggs and so I started out with 5 (4 hens and 1 roo) and before I knew it I had a broody hen and hatched out my first 4 of which 2 didn't make it, but now I am hatching chicks in the incubator that before I put them in the incubator which btw is so much more convenient they were refrigerated for 2 wks. I didn't think they would hatch but I was wrong. And now I have 2 banny babies.
Any way I have lots of questions but not much time between caring for my flock of 12 (8 hens and 4 roos) and now I have 5 baby
chicks that have just hatched out in the last 5 days. And 12 hr workdays. Oh and I have to fit in Castleville in there as well.I hope
to make many new friends and get some great ideas for my back yard chickens.

Many Thanks in advance.
