hen standing on one leg

Here is a picture of my rir hen in back of rooster standing on 1 leg. She has been doing this ever since she was a chick. Does this every once in a while but noticed she does this a lot more when its cold

Shes probably just trying to keep warm. My hens do this at night on the roosts in winter. They puff up, tuck one foot in, huddle together, and tock there heads behind there wings. It's normal unless you see some type of injury.

That's exactly what she does! I inspected injury on bottom of feet and saw none
