Hi from southern CA

Thread Starter

Hi peeps! I've have a little black hen before, but we think a coyote got to her while we were on vacation. *sigh* I think she was a bantam breed but I not sure.

Anyways, I've got a variety of chicks coming in 2nd week of March. I'll be able to keep some, but most will need a home. So I'd rather find people who love chickens so these girls will be able to go to good homes. So here I am on the site!

Oh, I'm in CA, by Disneyland :)

Hi and welcome to BYC from northern Michigan big_smile.png

Home of the world's cutest dachshund, one crazy blue heeler, two cats,
one fat pony, and many (but not too many!) chickens

Can anyone tell me, how many are too many chickens?

Hi and welcome to BYC.  Sorry to hear about your black chicken.  A fox took 3 of mine a couple of months ago.  Have totally secured their area now so hopefully no more problems.  Have fun.
