Hi, I just got 4 goose eggs, and I was wondering about the incubation. I've heard alot about letting the eggs cool to room temp for 30 min every day, and misting them at the end of the 30 min. Do you do that from the beginning of the 'bation? Or do you start doing that later on?

Are the 4 goose eggs from your geese or purchased??? As Celtic says the eggs go into lock down on the 28th day. You only leave them cool for 5-10 minutes a
day.
Petes guide to hatching geese eggs is Wonderful to go by!!!! Make sure to use it you will have better hatches that way.

I got my goose eggs from a guy at my church. I asked him what kind they were and he said, "White ones." So who knows what they are.

I looked at the pamphlet that came with the 'bator and it said geese take 28-34 days to hatch, so that's what I put on my calender. If anyone can narrow it down, that would be great. I set them on the 24th. Also read Pete's guide, it was very useful!

Well now that narrows it down some with them being white ones.
