Bloody eggs?

I have one hen that has had about 3 bloody eggs within the last week. Two happened back to back.

She free ranges and eats chick starter with oyster shells on the side. As scratch, she gets oats. Other than these eggs and a dirty/messy bottom, she acts completely normal. What do I do?
 
Occasionally a hen will produce an egg that is a little to big to pass through her vent easily and this can cause a small rupture or damage to the blood vessels in the vent. This is more common with new layers who's bodies are still adapting to laying.
Another possibility is that her vent got pecked by another chicken(s). Check her vent for damage and also check her vent for mites...

Also, I'm not sure if she classifies as a new layer. She started last August.
 
Yikes, I've never had a bloody egg like that before so I haven't done any research before on this. I would definitely follow sumi's suggestions and also switch to a layer feed. Chick starter/grower is for baby chicks and chicks that are growing. I've heard that it's not healthy for chickens to eat chick starter though I don't know the side effects. I did not notice that, but it may just be a glare from the dried blood.

You say she has a dirty butt too? Is there any blood in her stools? A bad case of coccidiosis can cause extreme irritation and bleeding of the cloaca. This can cause the amount of blood on the egg. If she has had very soft feces and it is running down the feathers and making a mess on her rear side, you are very likely looking coccidiosis. You will need to treat her right away or she can die from the infection. How is her behaviour other than the blood? Is she out running around all the time or do you not see her out much or is she just sitting around? Is she fluffed up and hunching? All these different symptoms point toward various answers.
 
We have had a few eggs like that recently, too. They aren't new layers (started around October) and I haven't been able to find anything wrong with them.
