Guinea names

poultry4ever, If they're males - Bert and Ernie (Sesame Street). Or Stella and Stanley (Streetcar Named Desire - play).

I like flowers: Magnolia, Begonia, Daisy, Pansy, Petunia, Poppy, Phlox (mixes up the "P" sound and confuses visitors...) I have a chicken hen named Constance Goodheart.

LOL. Names are fun, but very personal. You should tell us what you decided, or we'll be suggesting names for the next month.

Mine get names like gimpy, knot head, one-eye etc, and that's usually just the injured birds I have had to doctor up (there's no way can I or will I ever name all 90+ of my Guineas lol). Oh and then there are some that get temporarily names like crock-pot, roaster, baker, broiler... etc for the birds that I plan on processing

I like the name Rexy. We used to have a male guinea, the alpha of the flock, that was named Rex. Your guinea looks like a female to me, so Rexy seems to fit nicely. I'm sure you'll settle with something that feels right to you. All of my guineas were named according to their personalities or something unique about them. Rex was the king. Piper was very flighty. Melody would sing out the loudest and most often. Bianca had one white feather. Sadie was a sweet little quiet hen. And Shyloh was our shy "low girl."
