Complulsive buy. Just bought two baby chickens from the farm and feed store. :/ uh oh

I just bought two baby chickens from the farm and feed store. they were so cute so i bought them and brought them to my auto wrecking yard. I bought a heat bulb, food, water supplement , food bowl, and a water bowl. spend $55 total.

I turned took a junk car and put it inside the shop. I put the chickens in it. put wire across the front of the trunk and put the heat lamp over it. Ill take pictures later. Any advice would be nice. They seem fine im not sure how old they are or what kind they are. Maybe someone could help me
 
There are so many helpful people here and tons of great articles! Lots of posts too that you can search for on everything a Newbie needs to know. I would be lost if not for BYC :)

They can with a few caveats, one drakes and hens not a good mix, some get by okay but there is always the risk a drake could kill a hen trying to mate them, next water.. chickens are delicate little drinkers, ducks? HA they are like a kid playing in a fountain.

I keep mine separate for those reasons above but others choose otherwise, but those are the two main issues.

Possible, keys are good venting and predator proof! everyone will want a chicken dinner and i doubt your offering
