I noticed one of our new girls a 10 week cooper Maran had little red flecks in her poop. Looked on here at the poop chart and figured it was the intestinal lining shed poop. But now all my girls seem to be doing it, almost daily. Normal poop? Or?

keep a very close eye on it if it begins to look like blood its coccidosis and it's best treated with Corid
Corid kills all 9 strains of cocci. you might want to get the corid to have on hand incase. look for other symptoms such as extremely sleepy; head down eyes shut; ruffled feathers; lethargy: loss of appetites. ect. if you don't see any symptoms it very well could be lineing.I know it freaks me out too when I see the lineing. I'd just keep a watchful eye out for symptoms. to be safe. usually you can see its lineing if you scoop it up and look under a bright light. I'll do this myself sometimes. hope this helps. best of luck!

It has been like this for a couple weeks. They're fed grower feed and organic scraps fromus. Yogurt almost daily, oatmeal, veggies, fruit, leftovers, bugs, grass, grit.

X2. If all of their poops look like that all day long, I'd be worried and probably treat with Corid.

It looks like stuff from their diet, I wouldn't worry. Bloody poop is runny, and BRIGHT red, this just looks like bug shells, and oats.
Not true, I've seen lots of bloody poop, some runny, some firm, some with bright red, some with darker clots. Have a chick now that's on Corid, I'll see if I can get a sample picture.

I know it's a lot of work, but you might want to think about getting a weight on them and worming them. Then weigh/worm again in ten days... if they're the same weight or heavier, great, then nothing to worry about.
