COCKATIEL LOVERS NEEDED!!!!!!

. I love my tiels been breeding them for 16 yes here in Arkansas I'm trying something new I've gotten my first breeding pair of white faced tiels and their fertility is less than desirable last clutch only one fertile out of 5 so I've looked up on incubation and I am going to start offering hen extra calcium and pull about 5 eggs each clutch and artificially incubate them for 7 days and when I candle replace whatever infertile eggs they may have with the hopefully fertile eggs I have in incubator my goal is to improve my stock by mixing the gene line with my own normal greys but Gota have more white faced babies to speed this along and don't Wang to put more money into them right now sales are down cause everyone I know is wanting white faced when they come look at em lol

I read you shouldnt breed like mutations in tiels as they come out weaker and smaller.
 
You are correct pandapaws it shouldn't be done but there is limited selection on Tiels in my area for breeding stock I am raising more white faced to breed back into my flock in related birds of course just to increase the number of my white faced producers or birds split to white face my intent isn't to sale the initial babys they will be put into my breeding program

This is my baby. Her name is Cayanne (like the spice). She's still being hand fed. She loves to stand and cuddle right under my chin! Weird preference, huh?
