Golden Hybrid 300

My Golden's are great- have not had much experience with other breeds, but these are a great fit for a backyard hobby. My girls have unique personalities as well as unique markings on each. Very quiet, friendly and superb egg layers!

Where did you get yours from if i may ask? i was wanting to try some, but couldn't find any anywhere, and hatchery that may have later to hold for me wanted fortune. interested to know how they grow and produce, forage ect, and are later all around and as pets.

the golden hybrid 300 is only found at metzer's farm as far as I know. They also have other types of ducks and are free range. Just look up metzer's farm and you should find it.

I received mine from McMurray hatchery. Would have liked to find them locally, but no luck. They are all around great ducks it seems- Hardy, great egg layers, quiet, friendly

I've heard that these are among the smartest ducks, or poultry for the matter. True? I raised Khaki Campbells that were fairly intelligent.

I have half dozen what bought as and looked like KCs as ducklings from TSC, but after feathered in look what some saying layer hybrids.. any ideas??? as can't find much on except generic description of on hatchery sites.

well nets to slow to load pics, but they now have a green bill on one male, other males just starting to show some green on bills but mostly still dark slate but bluish wing patches with white bars. females bills turning black and light brown faint wing patches, with reddish feet and almost red legs, feathers turning pale from sun supposed but chests getting white in. all were khaki looking as chicks except green billed one, and they stood straight upright like runner ducks. they are not loud usually, but can be very aggressive at times with each other and scovy maybe even chooks, they can be pesty flighty or aggressive with me. non have any barring/strips on face but females had flecking amd then speckling before white bled out.
