Hi guys, I am very new to chickens and I have decided to incubate some of my eggs. I have done a lot of research to get a feel for which incubators are better than others, and it seems to me as if Brinsea is by far the best type of incubator-- at least that is what I have read. Now I have also come across the Farm Innovators incubator which seems to be less reliable, but holds many more eggs. Since it holds like 40 eggs, it seems to me that the Farm Innovators is the better deal, even though it is $130. The Brinsea Mini Advanced is around $130 as well and only holds seven eggs. My question is which one do you think is the better deal, factoring in capacity, reliability, and price. This is a very difficult decision for me. Up until now I have been leaning towards the Farm Innovators, but the more I think about it, the more I think that Brinsea would be better. Any help would be great. Thank you!

Love our Brinsea, bigger model than what you are looking at, but great hatches so far and the digital controls are superb!

Looks like the farm inovetors is one of the styrofoam type, nothing wrong with that though.

We have a couple types now and love the brinsea, but it is nice to have extra space, but having more hatch and fewer quitters sure is nice.

ok, now i'm not helping make it easier

I have the Little Giant Still Air Incubator and love it! I honestly usually have 100% hatch from my own flocks' eggs. Eggs I get from other people usually don't hatch 100% but my own do. Hope this helps!

I own the brinsea Mini and I love it. I have had great hatches with it especially duck eggs. I also have the Genesis Hovabator and a Little Giant. I use the Hovabator for incubating and the LG for hatching when I have staggard hatches. If I had to choose based on performance the Brinsea wins even though the others hold more.
