I've heard this breed is fairly easy to sex, but I have no experience. It looks like a boy to me...but I couldn't tell you why.

7 weeks old. Even with all those dark feathers you think pullet?
could you get a side way body shot of you holding it .. It will be easier to tell them

Sweet!!! I hope you're right. I've been trying for a while to get a blue egg layer...so far we've had a fox and neighbor dog kill the ones we've had, both times shortly before they were to start laying. Or...they've hatched out boys

Looks like a little eagle, I think it looks like a pullet too.
Beautiful! See...I'm thinking roo...I read dark neck feathers...pink/red comb, 3 rowed combs (bah-all I've ever seen have 3 rows lol) and thick legs (compared to hatch mates) are males...but no follow through on any of the many examples with that info applied!
I hope you have a pullet! (unless u want roo- I see roo) cuz of *her* comb n neck...imma total newb at this breed tho!
