Hi there, I am thrilled to be part of this community. I have been reading your site and getting valuable info! I am from South Africa, in Sandton, Johannesburg. I have a momma hen called Dotty and she hatched three eggs. The chicks are now grown-up. It turned out that only one is a hen called Becky and the other a rooster called Raymond . Well, he makes it quite clear by his early morning crowing. The other one, I'm not to sure of, he looks ike a rooster, but does not crow! he is called Alex. Dotty gives me one egg a day and now Becky has started laying too!
I also have 7 other young hens and they will hopefully start laying in the spring (September). I look forward to inter-acting with you all.
