Armed with the fact that our eggs are supposed to have less cholesterol, more protein and just overall more healthy than store bought eggs, I have a question. About how many eggs a week do you folks consume? I would like to eat about a dozen a week and was hoping this is okay. For 45 years my cholesterol has been in the same 15-20 point range, no meds etc. Any thoughts?

I am sure our eggs are a lot healthier to eat than the store bought unfertilized eggs so i eat a lot. Egg is one of the best complete food we can find. As such I eat 4 to 10 eggs per day.

I've been doing this for the past 3 years. My BP now is 120/80, everything else is also normal.

I eat about 3 to 4 eggs a day. My grandpa used to eat 6 every morning before he left to go to work in the fields and he lived into his 90's.

The doctor told me that most of what you see in the tests for cholesterol is inherited...our diet will affect it if we go way overboard with one thing or another but for the most part it has more to do with your ancestry than anything else.
