Swedish Flower hen chicks

I know this is an old thread but BJ's Poultry http://www.bjspoultry.com/swedish-flower-hens.html also sells them. Straight run chicks will be $9.00 each. The page says sol out until 2015 but currently available says there are some in the incubator. I bought other breeds from him an he is great to deal with. Everyone arrived safe and healthy from Michigan to Louisiana.

I am currently researching breeds of chickens for whenever we start our flock. I fell in love with this breed, and of course its rare - just my taste...always has to be different! Haha. All of this info is definitely helpful. Thanks! And good luck on your chicks. Let us know if / when / how you get some and how your experience goes!

Here's some more relevant info on my recent Swedish Flower Hen ebay purchases:

I ordered 10 SFH eggs from rognkat580 in Oklahoma. They shipped 12 eggs, very quickly, all very well packed. Most air cells were intact. That is great! Most of my other orders have had mostly wobbly air cells. I would recommend this seller to anyone. Check out this rooster they showed in the ad:

I had a great experience with this ebay seller's eggs. I got a dozen Salmon Faverolle eggs. One was clear. Two stopped. The rest hatched. There were NO wobbly air sells. He doesn't have anything else up right now, but I definitely want more SFs! Does anyone know if he has a regular webiste?
