:) African Geese...I hadn't thought of that one! Since the orange "fence" went up she has not played the music, stalked me or walked her dog next to my chickens again. It's freaking me out a little.... living next to a crazy person might be making me a little crazy! Maybe she put up a security camera and she's watching me from inside the house? The reason why we decided not to put up a fence before now is not only because we thought she wanted one, but also because of cost. The fence will have to be 300 feet! We looked up boundary fence law in CT. There is a law which states that if 2 neighbors can't agree on a "division fence" then the 1st selectmen of the town can order the most appropriate fence to be put up. In our case, she is threatening chain link so she can run her dogs up and down the property line to frighten our animals... while we would like an 8 foot high stockade fence, to block noise. I wonder which is more appropriate? :) If the 1st selectman does decide that our fence is needed he can then order them to pay for half!!!! I said, no way....I guess we will see!

Have you filed for a restraining order? This story sounds oddly familiar to a good friend of mine. Eventually she will do something worthy of arrest and prosecution. Enough of these "episodes" will eventually warrant some time. It's sad that it comes to such things, but many people in this world live in their own reality which finds themselves at the center and everyone else is here to please and benefit them.

If you really wanted go buy 6 guineas and release them on the property they will eat snakes yell scream call bloody murder never get caught by anything and shut up at night time

I am just glad I don't have a neighbor like this... KEEP THAT ROOSTER!!!

When I moved here a guinea already lived here. Believe me, he travels. No body complains because I am completely surrounded by huge cattle farms. But, he only hangs around long enough for the morning feeding......and is gone for the rest ofthe day :)

So, I am envisioning guineas flying over the fence to go visit the crazy lady neighbor!
