Hi, I know this question is VERY popular. We ordered all hens from a hatchery. Wondering if this gal may be a guy. She/He is 4 weeks old. What do you think???

I agree that it looks like a little roo with that big comb and wattles already sprouting.
Greetings from College Station, Texas. It looks to me like you have a very young adolescent in it's peak of awkwardness. Whether it's a boy or a girl, it should start prettying up pretty soon.

With that much comb and wattle, I think you have a rooster. Females usually don't start showing such a large, red comb until they are at least fourteen weeks old.

Thank you everyone. We didn't plan on having a rooster. Gonna keep watching to see what happens. Here's another pic.

He sure is a cutie.....look at those eyes. So much character in his expression ♡
Looks like a roo to me. I have been fooled before though. If comb gets more red and waddles too then ites a Roo.
